Post Card - Buick Factory and Offices, Flint, Mich.
3-1/2" x 5-1/2" color lithograph post card in excellent condition published by the Valentine & Sons Publishing Co. circa 1907-1908. View is looking to the Northwest across Hamilton Avenue. Factory 1 (foreground) was constructed in 1907. Behind it is Factory 6, also constructed in 1907. The Buick headquarters building is on the left. In the center of the photo, the stack from the Oak Powerhouse can be seen. The Oak Powerhouse was the first power plant to be constructed on the Buick site. This post card is post marked August 5, 1910. There is a hand-written message on the reverse side.
