Rare 1939 Photograph of the 1910 Buick Bug Model 60 Special Racer
Rare 1939 7-1/2" x 9" photograph of the 1910 Bug Racer Model 60 Special. In this photograph, the car is on loan to a General Motors Exhibit by the Howard Automobile Company, California Buick Distributors. The late Terry B. Dunham, Founder of the Buick Heritage Alliance and an expert on the history and heritage of the Buick Bug Racers, noted that "the signage in the background clearly states that the car was on loan to GM from the Howard organization and that it had been raced by Bob Burman. However, I would point out that the 1908 year credited to the machine is incorrect." The correct year is 1910. You will receive a high-quality, high-resolution reproduction of this photograph printed on heavy stock, gloss photographic paper.
